FBG invites applicants for a full-time Research Assistant position. The successful candidate is expected to work on one or more of the following research areas:

  • Conifer somatic embryogenesis and tissue culture.

  • Genome-editing/novel genetic engineering.

  • Molecular and genetic regulation of tree growth, development, and stress response.

  • Engineering of trees for improved phenotypic traits.

PhD Scholarship

Fall 2019

FBG invites applicants for a full-time PhD position. The successful candidate is expected to work on one or more of the following research areas: (1) Molecular and genetic regulation of tree growth and development. (2) Biotic and abiotic stress response in forest tree species. (3) Genome-editing and genetic engineering. (4) Integrative systems-level analysis of “omics”. (5) Engineering of tree crops for improved phenotypic traits.
