The successful candidate is expected to work on one or more of the following research areas: (1) Molecular and genetic regulation of tree growth and development. (2) Biotic and abiotic stress response in forest tree species. (3) Genome-editing and genetic engineering. (4) Integrative systems-level analysis of “omics”. (5) Engineering of tree crops for improved phenotypic traits.
